ISRO Rover challenge

The Robocon and allied clubs of IIT Patna, are dedicated to fostering knowledge-sharing and skill development through events like the ISRO Rover Challenge, where participants can witness captivating demonstrations of our cutting-edge projects, aiming to inspire and empower enthusiasts in the field.

Robocon and the allied clubs of IIT Patna, including the Tinkering Lab, are committed to promoting knowledge-sharing and skill development. Robocon National Finals

The prestigious National Finals of Robocon are jointly hosted by Doordarshan and IIT Delhi, and the electrifying event is broadcasted live on DD Bharti, captivating audiences across the nation.

Design and simulate

We excel in creating intricate 3D models and conducting realistic robot simulations as a crucial part of our initial ideation process. Our dedication to leveraging cutting-edge technology enables us to craft innovative solutions with precision and vision.

Testing Our Remote Control Apps

We excel in web and app development, crafting cutting-edge solutions to meet diverse needs that include monitoring and control of our latest instruments.

Prototype and Test Wacky Mechanisms

Building a robot every year involves trying out wild mechanisms, most don't work but hey, that's real Engineering

ML OPS

We deploy exerimental pre-trained and custom made models for novel applications in problem solving.

Circuit Design

Designing and Optimizing our PCB's as per requirements each year, focussing on upgradability of PCB's created.

CAD (Computer-Aided Design)

Leveraging advanced CAD tools for designing and optimizing our projects each year, with a key focus on enhancing the upgradability and adaptability of CAD models.

Space Robotics

Designing and enhancing our space robotics systems annually, with a focus on optimizing functionality and adaptability to evolving requirements. Ensuring the continued improvement of our space robotics platforms for seamless integration of advancements.

Robot Operating System (ROS)

Developing and refining our Robot Operating System (ROS) architecture, emphasizing annual enhancements and adaptability to ensure optimized performance. Our focus lies in designing ROS frameworks that can easily accommodate upgrades, providing a scalable and efficient foundation for evolving robotic applications each year.

What is ABU Robocon

Asian Broadcasters' Union Robocon is the largest and oldest pan-asian robotics challenge that has hundreds of teams over many asian countries.

Problem Statement

Every year we recieve a problem statement which is unique.

Brainstorm

We come up with novel concepts in order to solve the given problem. A lot of headscratching and wild ideas are involved.

The Stages

We commence with design and demo rounds and finally the Qualified teams head for the National finals in New Delhi.

Technology and Innovation Hub, IIT Patna

TIH IIT Patna stands for Technology Incubation Hub IIT Patna. It is a non-profit company that was set up by IIT Patna in 2017 under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NMICPS) of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. The main objective of TIH IIT Patna is to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the field of cyber physical systems. It does this by providing incubation, hand-holding, go-to-market strategy, and funding to early-stage startups.

Tech Analogy

Tech Analogy is a company that provides STEM education to individuals of all ages, regardless of their location or social standing. They offer a variety of courses and workshops on topics such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and cybersecurity. Tech Analogy's mentorship program is designed to help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in STEM careers. The program pairs students with experienced professionals who can provide guidance and support.

TechProLabz

Techprolabz is a pioneer in the field of Robotics. It is an organisation that invests in creating new innovations, and executing them to bring out new technology. Today the world is craving for new "Kalams" and Einsteins and so. Techprolabz is trying hard to fill that gap and we act as a bridge to provide kids the platform that will make themselves land in between top tech-lovers.

The initial absence of a Robocon team at IIT Patna began as a source of frustration but quickly turned into an unexpected opportunity to start something truly special. Participating in Robocon was not just about fulfilling my passion for working on robotics and tackling intriguing problems; it was the first time I had the chance to collaborate closely with friends across all five departments. This endeavor was incredibly fulfilling, fostering lasting friendships, innovative ideas, and meaningful collaboration. I am proud and delighted to have seen the team expand from 18 to over 50 students. I wish them the best of luck for the future. This experience is one I cherish deeply, as it contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth.
